WE MADE PLENTY OF NOISE IN HOUSTON!
Even the Houston Chronicle newspaper wrote in their sports page column
“By the time the third quarter of the Rockets game against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night started, the only thing that could be heard from the subdued Toyota Center crowd was “Let’s Go Mavs!” by a group of Dallas fans pleased with what they saw.”
And guess who that group might have been?? That’s right, your Love Those Mavs traveling road crew, who were particularly loud that wonderful night.
Our Mavs put the thump on the Rockets that night and it was awesome. Even Mark Cuban, the coaches, the trainers, and others said they could hear us loud and clear!
On board that crazy trip were Meredith Roberts and Scott Comley as well as Trevor Burns and his Mom Janice Burns, all fantastic fans and great road warriors. From the Mavs front office we had Katie Edwards and her husband Glen, Adam Wermuth and his sweet wife Amy, and Kristy Laue and her husband Matt and Lonnie Franklin III, all super fun folks!
This was one for the books indeed and our first Love Those Mavs of the 2015-16 season was a blast!
